- **Exploration:** Traverse different districts of Hanwell, including urban areas, abandoned buildings, and subterranean locations.
- **Stealth Mechanics:** Players are encouraged to avoid direct confrontation with entities through stealth and environmental awareness.
- **Puzzle Solving:** Progress is often gated by environmental puzzles that require observation and logical deduction to solve.
- **Resource Management:** Limited resources, such as light sources and defensive items, necessitate careful management.
- **Environmental Storytelling:** Narrative elements are primarily conveyed through discoverable documents, audio logs, and visual cues within the game world.
- **Dynamic Threats:** Supernatural entities exhibit varied behaviors and patrol patterns, requiring players to adapt their strategies.
The game emphasizes atmosphere and psychological horror over jump scares, building tension through sound design and visual cues. There is no multiplayer component.
