Product Overview
Human: Fall Flat is a physics-based puzzle-platformer playable in single-player or online multiplayer. The game features a series of open-ended dreamscapes where players control customizable human characters. The core gameplay involves navigating environments, solving puzzles, and reaching exit points using the characters' unique physics-based movement system. Players can grab objects, climb surfaces, and manipulate the environment through direct control of each arm.
Key Features
- Physics-based movement: Characters possess wobbly, ragdoll-like physics, requiring players to master momentum and limb control for navigation and object interaction.
- Open-ended levels: Each dreamscape presents multiple solutions to puzzles, encouraging experimentation and creative approaches.
- Multiplayer support: Up to 8 players can join online, collaborating or competing to overcome obstacles.
- Character customization: Players can personalize their human's appearance with various outfits and color schemes.
- Interactive environments: Levels contain numerous objects and mechanisms that can be manipulated, pushed, pulled, or activated to progress.
- No set path: The game does not dictate a single correct method for puzzle-solving, allowing for player-driven discovery.
Gameplay Mechanics
Players control their character's movement with standard inputs for walking and jumping. Separate controls are provided for each arm, allowing for independent grabbing and manipulation of objects. This dual-arm control is central to the game's climbing, swinging, and puzzle-solving mechanics. The environment is designed to react realistically to the characters' physics, leading to unpredictable outcomes and emergent gameplay situations.
