Othercide (Xbox One, Series X) - Xbox Live Key - Europe Restricted
Product Overview
This product delivers an Xbox Live key for the tactical turn-based RPG, *Othercide*, compatible with Xbox One and Xbox Series X consoles. The key is region-restricted for activation within Europe.
Gameplay Mechanics
*Othercide* features a turn-based combat system where players command an army of "Daughters," echoes of the greatest warrior. Combat unfolds on a dynamic timeline system, allowing players to plan actions and reactions. Units possess a range of abilities, including Interrupts and Delays, which can alter turn order and battlefield control. The game incorporates a "Dynamic Timeline System" where actions have a duration and impact the initiative of subsequent turns.
Progression and Systems
The game includes a **Sacrifice System** where Daughters can be sacrificed to empower others, unlocking new abilities or increasing base stats. Each Daughter is a unique entity with individual stats, skills, and personalities. Upon death, a Daughter is permanently lost, but her "memories" can be extracted and used to buff future Daughters or alter game mechanics. Players navigate a procedurally generated "Darkness" over a series of "Eras," each presenting new challenges and enemy types. The game offers a "Legacy System" allowing players to carry over progress and unlockable benefits into subsequent runs, providing a persistent sense of progression despite the perma-death mechanic.
Visuals and Audio
*Othercide* utilizes a distinct black, white, and red monochromatic art style, emphasizing character and environmental details through stark contrasts. The soundtrack is composed by Max Lilja (formerly of Apocalyptica) and emphasizes the game's grim atmosphere.
