Prey (2017) | Digital Deluxe Edition (PC) - Steam Key - LATAM / CIS / Asia
Prey (2017) Digital Deluxe Edition (PC) - Steam Key - LATAM / CIS / Asia
Overview:
Prey is a first-person shooter with RPG elements developed by Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. Set in an alternate timeline where John F. Kennedy survived an assassination attempt and invested heavily in space exploration, the game takes place aboard Talos I, a futuristic space station orbiting the Moon. The Digital Deluxe Edition includes the base game, *Prey*, and its only DLC, *Mooncrash*.
Gameplay Mechanics:
The core gameplay of Prey revolves around exploration, combat, and player choice. Players assume the role of Morgan Yu, a scientist who awakens on Talos I during an alien invasion. The station is overrun by the Typhon, a hostile extraterrestrial species with various forms and abilities.
Player Abilities and Progression:
Players can customize Morgan's abilities through two primary skill trees:
- Human Abilities: Focus on engineering, security, and scientific skills, allowing for weapon upgrades, hacking, and medical proficiency.
- Typhon Powers: Mimic the abilities of the aliens, granting powers like mimicry (transforming into objects), psychic blasts, and telepathy.
Acquiring Typhon Powers introduces a "Typhon C-Scan" mechanism, making the player vulnerable to automated defense systems if heavily invested in alien abilities.
Combat and Exploration:
Combat utilizes a variety of conventional firearms, specialized weapons (e.g., GLOO Cannon for environmental manipulation and enemy incapacitation), and melee attacks. The environment of Talos I is designed as a semi-open world, encouraging non-linear exploration and the discovery of multiple pathways and secrets. Zero-gravity segments further expand exploration possibilities.
Digital Deluxe Edition Content:
- Prey (Base Game): The full single-player campaign experience on Talos I.
- Mooncrash DLC: A separate, repeatable campaign with roguelike elements. Players are tasked with escaping a secret moon base before a catastrophic event, facing randomized objectives, enemies, and environmental hazards with different playable characters.
