Product Overview:
Sid Meier's Civilization VI: Gathering Storm is an expansion pack for the turn-based strategy video game Civilization VI. This digital product provides a Steam key for the game, specifically for the RU/CIS region.Key Features:
- Environmental Effects: Introduces new environmental systems including volcanic eruptions, storms (blizzards, dust storms, tornadoes, hurricanes), floods, and droughts. These events impact gameplay through terrain changes, resource depletion, and unit damage.
- World Congress: Reintroduces the World Congress, allowing players to vote on resolutions that affect global gameplay, such as economic sanctions, resource bans, and emergency measures. Diplomatic Favor is a new currency used to influence voting.
- Climate Change: A global temperature system is implemented, driven by the use of carbon-emitting power sources. Rising temperatures can lead to increased sea levels and the melting of polar ice caps, affecting coastal tiles.
- Engineering Projects: New late-game engineering projects are available, including flood barriers, which mitigate the effects of rising sea levels.
- New Civilizations & Leaders: Adds eight new civilizations, each with unique abilities, units, and districts, alongside nine new leaders.
- New Units & Districts: Introduces several new units and districts across various eras, expanding strategic options.
- New Technologies & Civics: Expands the technology and civics trees with new advancements, pushing gameplay into the future eras.
- Power & Consumable Resources: Adds electricity as a new resource, powering advanced buildings and units. Strategic resources can now be consumed by certain power plants, influencing carbon emissions.
