Game Overview

Vagrus - The Riven Realms is a turn-based, post-apocalyptic fantasy RPG with a focus on resource management and perilous overland travel. Players assume the role of a 'vagrus,' a leader of a traveling company navigating a broken world called Xeryn. The game combines elements of CRPGs, management simulators, and choose-your-own-adventure narratives, all set within a dark fantasy universe.

Key Features

• Resource Management: Maintain food, water, and morale for your crew while managing trade goods and wealth. Success hinges on efficient resource allocation during journeys and in settlements.
• Overland Travel: Traverse a vast world map in a node-based movement system. Each 'comitatus' (your caravan) move consumes resources and may trigger events or encounters.
• Turn-Based Combat: Engage in strategic, turn-based combat with a diverse roster of enemies. Utilize character abilities, equipment, and tactical positioning to overcome challenges.
• Branching Narrative: Experience a rich, non-linear story presented through extensive written narratives and branching choices. Player decisions significantly impact the story's progression and available opportunities.
• Companion System: Recruit and manage unique companions, each with their own backstory, skills, and combat roles. Companions can contribute to both overland travel and combat scenarios.
• Trade and Factions: Participate in a dynamic economy, trading goods between various settlements and interacting with numerous factions. Reputation with factions can open or close access to services and quests.
