Content Description

Yakuza Kiwami is a full remake of the original Yakuza game, initially released for the PlayStation 2. It features rebuilt assets, additional story content, and updated combat mechanics. Players assume the role of Kazuma Kiryu, a rising star in the Tojo Clan yakuza family, who takes the fall for the murder of his boss to protect his best friend. After serving ten years in prison, Kiryu returns to a changed world, discovering his clan missing 10 billion yen and his childhood friend nowhere to be found.

Gameplay Mechanics

The game incorporates four distinct fighting styles that can be switched in real-time: Brawler, Rush, Beast, and the newly added Dragon style. Combat utilizes environmental objects and Heat Actions for powerful finishing moves. Exploration of the fictional Kamurocho district (based on Tokyo's Kabukicho) is central, featuring both main story missions and numerous substories. Activities like karaoke, batting cages, and casino games are available within the game world.
